The Idea

THE IDEA
In order to reap the benefits listed in BLOG !, the federal government should install solar systems in each home, nationwide, at no charge to the homeowner
The net cost the homeowner would be–0-
The cost to the government would be –0-after the benefits to the government listed in BLOG 1. These benefits more than outweigh the costs which will probably be recouped in the first three years.

The Benefits

THE BENEFITS
One idea......Many benefits ! ! !
The implementation of this one idea can result in the following
benefits nationwide

JOBS
Millions of jobs would be created over the next 20 years,
Thousands of small enterprises would also be created
Tax revenues associated with these jobs and enterprises would be increased.

OIL
There would be a major reduction in oil imports.
Homeowners would no longer use oil for their heating and air conditioning systems
The price of oil would be reduced
Oil spills would no longer be a consideration.

HOME OWNERS EXPENSES
Home owner expenses would be reduced by an average of $2500 per year.
(in effect this is a stimulus plan)

COMMUTATON EXPENSES
Eventually gasoline would no longer be the main fuel for cars and trucks
Commutation costs would be reduced.

HEALTH
Carbon emissions from all vehicles would be reduced
Hospitalization costs would be lowered.
Global warming would be alleviated.

GOVERNMENTAL COSTS
The cost of governmental projects where building maintenance and transportation are involved, would be reduced

MILITARY COSTS
Our military costs in Afghanistan, Iraq ad Iran would be reduced.
Terrorists would no longer benefit from the high price of oil
